My name is Bradley and I am an extremely handsome young man.
I am a friendly, lively, enthusiastic boy who is learning about the big wide world for the first time - gosh am I learning fast and I think its greyt!!!
Kristie had to take me to the vet where I met small dogs and children and she told me I was a really good boy – all I wanted to do was wag my tail and play. The vet and the nurse said “I was a stunner” – not idea what that means but it sounds good.
Kristie thinks I may even be “cat trainable” as I have met her cat and all I wanted to do was play, but I was a little lively, so if I were to live with a cat it would have to be with an experienced owner who has introduced dog and cat previously.
I was born in January 2015, so unfortunately I am just another statistic as I was deemed a failed racer, my legs wouldn’t run as fast as was needed to become successful and make my trainer money, so he no longer wanted me – I am sure you can guess what was going to happen to me!!!
I am fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date with my flea and worm treatment – so I am good to go when you are!!
Eila is a wonderful lady in Ireland, who managed to save me and took me from the pound to her shelter until the time came for me to cross the Irish Sea in search of new beginnings. I am so grateful that Eila came that day and picked me up.
Greyhounds are unfortunately never bred to be anyone’s pet, but we make absolutely fantastic companions, just give me the chance and I will show you.
At the moment I know nothing about home life and all the nice things that come with it, but the ladies at DAWG have promised that they will find me a lovely home with a family who will show me what I’ve been missing.
I walk well on my lead, and I am enjoying my regular walks with John who take me out every day. Although I have not really encountered children, the trustees think that as I am a gentle boy, I could live with children over eight years old, but they would have to be respectful of me.
If you are looking for a special dog in your life, look no further; I’m your boy, as apparently I will make a fabulous addition to any family.
Come on you know you want to come and meet me – pick up that phone!!
