Bristol DAWG

Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue

Hi everyone, it's Candy here and everyone who meets me says it's a most appropriate name. I was found straying and had to spend seven days in prison, which was actually really rather nice, better than what I'd had before anyway. The nice dog warden lady was able to find out my name and the fact that I was born in April 2013, but my owner didn't want me any more so Bristol DAWG took me in. Things got even better after that when a lovely lady called Anne took me into her home to foster me. I have two foster brothers, a lurcher and a shih tsu, so I get along with dogs of all sizes. I'm house trained, in fact I'm no trouble at all in the house and I walk well on my lead. I'm believed to be whippet/saluki cross, a bit bigger than a whippet but not as big as a greyhound and I'm the same colour as the illustration that Hilly has put up while she waits for a good photo of me. All in all, the trustees think I am the perfect package, although I blush to tell you that! If you would like to arrange a meeting, please contact one of the trustees, you won't regret it I promise.

Love and licks
