My name is Jody and I am a lovely boy with a happy go lucky nature, a wonderful personality and I am certainly full of fun.
I was saved by Eila in Ireland and on put on the big boat in search of new beginnings in the UK.
I was born in September 2012. I have had quite a successful racing career in Ireland, but I am now past my best for racing.
Life on the track is quite hard but the trustees have told me that’s all going to be a distant memory, they have told me about sofas, nice country walks and people to love me – no idea what these are, but I am looking forward to finding out.
I am neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and up to date with my flea and worm treatments, so I am good to go when you are.
Greyhounds are unfortunately never bred to be anyone’s pet, but we make absolutely fantastic companions, just give me the chance and I will show you.
Although I have never really met children as long as they are gentle and respectful of me I should be fine with children eight years and over.
If you are looking for a slightly more mature steady boy, who is going to make a fabulous family pet, I am definitely for you, so please come and meet me.
Unfortunately I cannot live with cats.
