Dennis has gone to his new home today to live with Elaine and Terry in Pucklechurch. Thank you both for giving this lovely boy another chance in life.
Massive thanks must go to Karen Austin and her family for very kindly fostering Dennis whilst he was waiting for his forever home. Once again you did an amazing job Karen and we know how hard it was for you to let this special boy go.
Thanks also to Karen and Gerry, as both of them had to brave the weather this morning to get Dennis to his new home.

Keep watching this space - we are expecting three or four new dogs to arrive from our good friend Eila in Ireland, probably some time on Thursday.

The above three beauties arrived at the kennels in the early hours of this morning and, as usual, were settled in by Kristie and James who earn our fervent thanks yet again. From the left: Rhonda, Robyn and Roger.

Thank you to Westerleigh WI who invited us to give a presentation for them. Hilary, Gerry, Diane and Colin attended with Kookie, Poppy, Amber, Trevor, Sam and Big Ted. It was a very enjoyable evening and raised almost £150!

Brilliant news our sweet little Missy has found her forever home in Winterbourne with Jan and Keith Lasenby and their two dogs, Skip and Dinah (both Bristol DAWG dogs).
We must say a massive thank you to Catherine Hendy and her family for another successful foster. We know this was a difficult foster as Missy did make your allergies worse, but you didn't give up on her and continued with the antihistamines!!

We are now taking deposits for this year's Charity Ball tickets - we need to pay the hotel soon so we need to get deposits in ASAP!
All new venue for 2018 with a fantastic menu which gives you a choice from three starters, five mains and four deserts.
We have secured an extremely good rate for Bed and Breakfast at this gorgeous hotel - just off the motorway.
We sold out last year and I know most people are looking to come back - so get in early!
Looking forward to smashing the £5,500 we made last year!

Gerry spent a lovely hour in Clevedon this morning with Sue and Andrew who have adopted the lovely Hazel (now renamed Gracie). Hazel arrived with her sister, Chanel, both were very timid girls, but we managed to move both into foster quite quickly.
Love the name change and Gracie is certainly enjoying her new life and, in just two weeks, has had so many new experiences, even appearing on Clevedon Pier Facebook page as "dog of the day".
I am so proud of Sue and Andrew as they are first time dog owners and they have researched, listened and taken every bit of advice that we have given and, because of this, everything has gone so smoothly. Think it is fair to say they are both totally smitten!! In just two weeks they can see a change in Gracie and her cheeky side is starting to appear.
I must say a massive "thank you" to Eila Moloney as without her Gracie would not have found her forever home in the UK - she works tirelessly to save these beautiful dogs.
Bristol DAWG cannot thank Ann and Barry enough for yet another fabulous foster whilst she was waiting for her forever home and she was certainly pleased to see you this morning when we arrived - they never forget the people who are kind.
Enjoy your new life Gracie you have fallen on all four paws.
