Hi everybody, Mary here. As you can see from my picture, I'm a very pretty girl. I'm a lurcher, a little bit bigger than a whippet and I was born in November 2015.
The picture with the bars on was taken in the pound, where I landed up after being found straying. My owner knew where I was and said he would be sending someone to fetch me, but nobody ever came, so, after seven days, I was sent to Bristol DAWG. I feel very sad to be unwanted, but the ladies at DAWG say I deserve a much better owner than that and have promised to find me a loving forever home.
I am quite quiet, but my personality is still coming out. I am used to other dogs and walk well on my lead. I also enjoy human company, when I know I can trust them and I am really looking forward to having some humans of my very own.
Would you like to come and meet me? Why don't you get in touch to make an appointment, it could be the best thing you ever do!

As we have only limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.
Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.
