My name is Pixie and Hilary describes me as a real live wire! I think she means it kindly, 'cos I only turned a year old at the end of January, so I'm still only a baby really.
Like all Bristol Dawgs, I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date with my flea and worm treatment.
Unfortunately I am just another statistic as I was deemed a failed racer, my legs wouldn’t run as fast as was needed to become successful and make my owner money, so he no longer wanted me – I am sure you can guess what was going to happen to me!!!
Eila is a wonderful lady in Ireland, who managed to save me and took me from the pound to her shelter until the time came for me to cross the Irish Sea in search of new beginnings. I am so grateful that Eila came that day and picked me up.

As we have limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.
Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.
