Hi my name is Rosie and I am an extremely sweet lurcher. I am medium in size, not as big as a greyhound, not too big, not too small, just perfect!!
I am between eighteen months and two years old and I absolutely adore people and really do enjoy human company.
I have definitely not had the best start in life, as I was found straying, very frightened, quite thin and generally worried about life.
I went to the local pound in North Somerset and stayed there for seven days and the people were really nice to me, however, no-one claimed me and I didn’t have a microchip so I couldn’t be reunited with my family.
I really didn’t enjoy kennel life and became quite stressed which is why I am looking for a new home as quickly as possible, where I can be part of a family.
Please only enquire about me if you have high fencing as I can jump!!! I am only a young dog, who will need quite a bit of exercise, as my energy levels are higher than a greyhound.
I am a bright girl and I am so willing to learn and would love to please anyone prepared to give me a chance. I appear to be a little scared of other dogs and sometimes I do bark, although I have met a couple of very nice greyhounds, and I liked them.
I am looking for a home with an experienced dog owner who is around for most of the day.
As the charity knows little about me they will only re-home me with children ten years and above, but they do know I may be cat trainable.
Please make an appointment to come and meet me, you definitely wont be disappointed, as I would love to be part of a family and feel safe and secure.
