Hello everybody - Stride here!
I am quite a big boy and, although I don't wish to appear conceited, Hilly does describe me as absolutely stunning, she says my photographs don't do me justice.
Like so many greyhounds, I was discarded by the Irish racing industry but I had the good fortune to come into the hands of Eila Moloney, who secured my future by finding me a place with Bristol DAWG. I crossed the Irish Sea on the ferry with some other greyhounds and then we continued overland to a place called Tonew Kennels, where I am kindly treated, well fed and have a soft bed to lie on. However, what I want most of all is my own forever home.
I know I would make my new family proud as, although I am still young, I am well behaved and walk nicely on my lead. I am also very confiding and affectionate.
If you would like to come and meet me with a view to adding me to your family, you need to contact the humans to make an appointment. I'm sure you wouldn't regret it. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Love and licks
As we have limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.
Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.
