Bristol DAWG

Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue

1 December 2020

We are now in a position to offer boarding to dogs that have been previous residents of Bristol DAWG. Spaces will be limited, as we only want to keep this on a small scale, but we are constantly asked for recommendations when people are looking to go on holiday or that odd weekend away.
To leave your dog with us we would need to see proof that your dog is fully vaccinated and has had the kennel cough vaccine – sadly we are not able to accept any dogs without up to date vaccinations.

These four beauties joined us from Ireland in the early hours of this morning. Meet Bolt, Dom, Danny and Orio (all young dogs) - if you are interested in adopting a new four legged friend, please fill in an on-line application which can be found HERE
These dogs will be at the kennels for at least two weeks for assessment.

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in Mavis, the whippet puppy. We were overwhelmed with applications, but she has now found her forever home in Lewdown, Devon with Kerry and Joe.
Kerry and Joe are known to Bristol DAWG and we know Mavis will have a wonderful life with them.

Smashing news this morning - big blue boy Dom has gone to his new forever home in Bristol with Ben and Stacy. He is a lovely boy who loves his cuddles and I’m sure will be much loved in no time at all. Be happy special boy

Brilliant end to the year with our final adoption of 2020. Fire Jet has gone to his forever home with the Furniss family. Now called Jake, he’s gone to live in Bristol next door to another DAWG dog Jet (was Ozzy). Thank you for giving this lovely young chap his second chance.
