Bristol DAWG

Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue

Dogs for adoption - please scroll down

As we have limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.

Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.

PLEASE NOTE: To comply with current law, dogs can only be released to new owners on production of a tag engraved with name and address as per the hand outs issued by Bristol DAWG

Bee - reserved

Hi everybody, Bee speaking here, as you can see from my picture, I'm a very pretty girl, even though I know I shouldn't really say so myself. Like so many other greyhounds, I came over from Ireland to seek my fortune and I'm now with Bristol DAWG where I am looked after like a queen. They tell me it'll be even better when I have a home of my own, but I don't really understand what that means. I'm really affectionate and I love to play and, like all Bristol dawgs, I'm neutered, fully vaccinated and regularly wormed and flea treated, so, why are you waiting? You can get in touch with the humans HERE and, when we meet up, I just know you're going to fall for me!
Love and licks
Bee xx

Dogs come and go and we are still here, to be fair we are big boys, but we so want forever homes of our own. We are big lads but we will make fabulous additions to any family.
We are both looking for new humans who have had experience of biggish dogs before (preferably a sighthound), as although neither of us has raced we are interested in the big wide world and all the new things there are to experience.
We would both need careful introduction to small dogs, but to an experienced sighthound owner would not prove a problem.
We are both extremely handsome, we know the girls are more popular as they are smaller, but if you are looking for a greyhound, give a big boy a chance!!!
Gino is just three years old and Chief just two years old. We are both fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date with our flea and worm treatments.
Neither of us would be able to live with cats, but could live with children eight years plus.
If you feel one of us could be that special boy in your life, please contact us HERE or fill in an application form on the website. Waiting patiently
Gino and Chief xx
