Dogs for adoption - please scroll down

As we have limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.

Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.

PLEASE NOTE: To comply with current law, dogs can only be released to new owners on production of a tag engraved with name and address as per the hand outs issued by Bristol DAWG

PLEA FROM CHIEF FOR A NEW HOME

Dogs come and go and I am still here, to be fair I'm a big boy, but I so want a forever home of my own. I'm a big lad but I will make a fabulous addition to any family.
I am looking for new humans who have had experience of biggish dogs before (preferably a sighthound), as although I haven't raced I am interested in the big wide world and all the new things there are to experience.
I would  need careful introduction to small dogs, but to an experienced sighthound owner would not prove a problem.
I am extremely handsome, I know the girls are more popular as they are smaller, but if you are looking for a greyhound, give a big boy a chance!!!  I am just two years old, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date with my flea and worm treatments.
I wouldn't be able to live with cats, but could live with children eight years plus.
If you feel I could be that special boy in your life, please contact the humans HERE or fill in an application form on the website. Waiting patiently
love
Chief xx

My name is Chance and a couple of weeks ago I came over from a place called Ireland, where I was born, on a big boat, to Bristol DAWG to seek my fortune. As you can see, I am a very handsome brindle boy and, like all Bristol Dawgs, I have been neutered, innoculated and flea and worm treated, so I am good to go. I am clean in my kennel and very affectionate.
The humans at the rescue centre, Nina and Kevin, are very kind to me and I love them both, but I'm ready now to adopt some humans of my own and the boarding dogs have told me how lovely it is to have your very own home.
If you think you might like to share your life with me and would like to find out more about me, please get in touch HERE - I can hardly wait to meet you.
Love and licks
Chance xx
