Bristol DAWG were represented this year at the Bristol Pride Dog Show by Jane and Diane and, as usual, a wonderful time was had by all!

Thank you to everyone who helped at the Dog Show this afternoon, especially Penny Owen and her husband Lindsay for organising this event, which raised £447.07 for Bristol DAWG
It was a lovely relaxing afternoon.

Meet Marley who only came into our care today so we know very little about him so far. He is around twelve weeks old and is said to be Greyhound x Saluki.
He is very playful, as bright as a button, chews everything and doesn’t have an off switch! He has remarkably sharp little teeth and really enjoys chewing your fingers and anything else he can reach!
He only had his first vaccinations today so isn’t going anywhere for a few weeks until he’s fully vaccinated. He is going to go to some puppy parties soon to start his socialisation.
If you are genuinely interested in him you need to be prepared to devote a lot of time and patience. He needs lots more socialisation and puppy classes would be a huge benefit. You really do need to start from scratch. All our adoptions are dependent on a successful home check.

Rhea arrived at the kennels in the early hours of this morning to seek her fortune with Bristol DAWG. What a beauty she is. We are grateful once more to Kristie and James for getting out of bed to settle her in.

Think the lovely Luna charms everyone she meets. She certainly charmed Tim and Lucy when they came to meet her on Tuesday evening.

Gerry spent a lovely hour today with the Appleton family to formalise the adoption for Rupert. This little boy is just so happy now and has really bonded with Peter his new dad, so lovely to see, as he was very timid with men when he first arrived.
Thanks as ever go to Sharon and Nick Foulger for fostering Rupert, although this has to be one of the shortest fosters ever, but the lovely Munch did us proud once again so we could "cat test" Rupert.

What a lovely mellow afternoon at the Greyhound Gathering in Eastville Park today. Congreytulations to the organisers for all the work they put in and I'm glad they were rewarded with such perfect weather. It was lovely to meet up with so many former Bristol Dawgs. All in all a good day. I hope everyone else enjoyed it too.
