Our lovely 5 year old lady Orla has found her forever home. Now called Ruby, she is living with her new forever family in Bridgwater. She has settled very well with her new Greyhound boyfriend, ten year old Robbie. It was great to see her looking so happy and I was greeted with lots of kisses and a very waggy tail. Be happy Ruby

Calling all painters!
Are you free next weekend? Would you like to come to the rescue centre and help us paint some exterior walls?
We can satisfy social distancing by allocating households to one particular area so we can all stay safe. We will supply all the paint and brushes, we will even supply tea/coffee and cake/biscuits. All you need to do is turn up in your scruffs and we’ll put you to work. Start time is 10am. You can stay all day or just pop in for a couple of hours. We appreciate any time you can give us.
Thank you

What a greyt weekend - we got so much done!
Lots of walls painted, millions of weeds uprooted, tea and coffee galore and your own body weight in cake!
A huge thank you to everyone who came to help - you were brilliant. Julie Windows and her hubby Nick, Jennifer and her amazing dirty laugh cutting the hedge and Ann Hyam pulling the weeds. The painting team - Gerry and Colin, David Hunt with Lynne and Immy, Karen and John Hirst, Paul and Josh O’Leary, Kelly Gregor and Mark Milsom,
 Ellie Dark
and William Taylor and Victoria Webster. Jane and Norman Worth.
Special thank you to Hilary Bloor-Swift
and  Alison for clearing a particularly difficult flower bed.  Everywhere looks so fresh and clean now. Amazing support and  sorry if we’ve forgotten anybody, it was such a busy weekend!

20 July 2020

Thank you to the Mitchells for giving Percy his forever home, he is very sweet, although a little shy until he gets to know you. Just love those brilliant ears.
Thank you also to the Austins for doing yet another amazing foster. You showed Percy what home life was all about, otherwise I think he would still be hiding in his kennel!!!

23 July 2020

In the early hours of this morning, Diane welcomed these five beauties into the kennels. Their names are Alert, Hawk, Paddy, Pat and Roxy. Further details will be published when they have been assessed, so keep checking back!

29 July 2020

Good luck to the lovely Hawk - now renamed Maverick - who left the kennels today to start a wonderful new life with Sarah, Craig and the boys.
