A huge thank you to everyone who came to support the Charity Dog Wash today, at Platinum Petcare, in aid of Bristol DAWG Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue.

Thank you to Kim and Stacey for your washing and drying, to Emma and Ruth for your expert cake selling, Megan for her organisational skills and to all of the dogs and owners who were so generous.
Hopefully Stacey has some lovely photos for you all 🙂
Another fantastic event and everybody had lots of fun ♥️

Stoke Gifford Fun Dog Show - what a greyt day!!!
We were amazed at how many former Bristol DAWG dogs brought their owners along to see us!! – it’s so rewarding to see so many of them, who are now in loving, forever homes, as many have not had the best start in life. So to all Bristol DAWG dogs, it was wonderful to see you and it makes all our hard work so worthwhile.
We would like to say a big “thank you” to Jan Lasenby who did a brilliant job judging the dog show, with so many dogs to choose from it must have been very difficult. Well done Jan.
Thanks to Colin who helped Jan by stewarding the dog show, with so many dogs in the ring he had his work cut out.
Thank you to Robin and Gail Horsfall who very kindly invited us to the show and sponsored the rosettes.
Jane’s DAWG Stall (helped by Norman and Linda) - this stall did really well selling lovely collars, coats, knitted greyhounds, plus lots of other bits and pieces – lots of items were handmade by Jane, well done Jane - brilliant job!
Well done Hilary and Carol who stood on the entrance and took the entries for the dog show.
Thanks to Diane and Daisy who very kindly walked around for a few hours selling raffle tickets for the hamper.
In The Dog House Grooming (Avalon) – Thank you did a wonderful job with the nail clipping, again with donations taken coming to Bristol DAWG, you are very kind.
This year we had a photographer, Stacey Nevill, (Stacey Nevill Photography – check out her Website/Facebook page absolutely brilliant) who very kindly took lots of pictures throughout the day - Stacey really does take fabulous pictures.
Platinum Pet Care – Kim and Megan again ran their wonderful stall. Thank you for your great support, not only at this show but also throughout the year.
Thanks to Jess and Kay for coming with their beautiful hand knitted coats, not exactly the right time of year, to be thinking about Winter, but these coats did sell as they are so well made.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our event and helped us to raise an amazing £1,032.
Those of you who attended yesterday may have seen the very pretty Nancy with her “I need a home bib” – brilliant news we have had an enquiry, paws crossed!!
Really hope I haven't missed anyone, but a huge "thank you" to every single volunteer who helped during the day.
