Hello! This is Nancy here. I recently travelled from Ireland in a big van, with my sister Mikala and some other dogs to look for homes in England. This is because, in Ireland, greyhounds suffer terrible welfare problems and very few people realise what brilliant pets we make. Mikala and I were lucky enough to be rescued by a lovely lady called Eila.
I am a gentle young girl, born on 4 January 2016, a dream to handle and walk well on my lead. I'm also confident and enjoy playing with other dogs. I have the waggiest tail of any greyhound ever, especially if there are treats on offer! However, as there is little history on me, the trustees would prefer that I was homed with older children and definitely not cats! I was reserved by a nice family with another dog, but sadly, the lady became ill just before I was due to go there, which meant they couldn't have me any more. So, if you would like to arrange to meet me, why not give one of the humans a call, I'm looking forward to seeing you.
As we have only limited history on most of our dogs, we usually only rehome with children eight years and over.
Dogs are only ever released to homes which have direct access to securely fenced gardens.
